Air Show

Last Sunday the Addison family went to the Wings over Houston Air Show at Ellington Field. It was awesome to see these amazing planes up close and in action and not to mention the weather was PERFECT. This was our first year to go and I can't wait for next year. Chris took all the pictures that day so I had the day off...well kind of, I had to keep a close eye on William. Chris did an awesome job with these pictures...as you can tell we had a fantastic day!!

William was able to meet a real piolet and check out the cockpit...he was so excited!!

I just can't believe how close these planes fly together...it's unreal.

Halloween Party

Chris and I threw William his first Halloween party this year. He's completely into the fun of Halloween and couldn't resist having a costume party for the kids. Not to mention, they never get to wear their costume that much, it was a great excuse to let the kids play as their favorite Halloween character!

This was the best I could do, these kids did not want to sit still!

Pumpkin Patch

I just love Fall!! The weather has been absolutely beautiful the past couple of days and we couldn't resist going to the pumpkin patch last week! I went with Tasha and Kate, poor Jakob was in school. But the kids had a good time...they are such cute cousins!

What a character...

Don't you just love his fake watch?

She is absolutely adorable!!!

William's new swing set

Chris and I decided that for William's 4th birthday present it would be great that instead of an overload of toys that he would either ruin or lose, we would have everyone interested chip in for his new swing set. With the Summer heat being ridiculous we decided to hold off until the weather was nice so that William could really enjoy it. The verdict is in and he loves it!! It was a big challenge putting together, but after a trip to Lowes and 5 hours of labor, the swing set was complete and ready to use! Chris did a great job, he's such an awesome dad...and handy too!

Before...

After!
Dad seems pretty pleased with himself...this picture is priceless,
I caught him in such a state of bliss!

Uncles

This is a rare occasion...all my brothers were in town and my oldest brother David hasn't seen William in almost a year. William and I took a drive to The Woodlands to have dinner and bond...poor William, they love to throw my child around, but he loves it!!

William getting a little payback, he can hold his own that's for sure!

Happy Halloween

Halloween is in full swing in the Addison home! I made the mistake of buying William's Halloween costume early thinking nothing would be left if I waited a few weeks. Goodness what was I thinking; William has been wearing that costume almost on a daily basis. As a precaution I spray it down with Lysol just to avoid it smelling by Halloween. I'm not kidding when I say William absolutely loves wearing it. One day he was so tired from school he was wearing it and watching TV and he fell asleep. The funny part is, I had no idea he was asleep because he had the mask on...it was hilarious because I was calling him and he wasn't responding, I took off the mask and started cracking up...what a dedicated super hero!! He's taken his role as the Black Spider Man very serious...spinning webs all over the house and saving the day! If I need help with anything he runs to me, stops dead in his tracks and puts his hands on his hips and does his best super hero stance and uses his very convincing super hero voice and says, "How can I help you?" It's too cute; I can't help but play along!!

Off to save the day!

Go web go!!

Did someone say Spider Man?

Perfect solution for a spider!

Dinos and more

Last Monday Chris and I attempted to take William to the Children’s Museum. Well, I didn’t get the memo that it was closed on Mondays. Instead we took William to the Museum of Natural Science. Let me just say, William LOVED all the dinosaurs. It was a great last minute decision!
