William's 3rd Birthday

I can't believe how fast time flies when you're having fun. William turned 3 and it happened so quickly. This is a hard time for a parent...you just want your baby to stay a baby forever. We had a small family birthday party on Friday and on Saturday we went to William's favorite jump house Extreme Fun. All the kids had a blast, William had the best birthday party ever!

The First Date

Well it happened, William found a beautiful little girl to call his "girlfriend". They go together like peas and carrots. RJ and William play so well together and as you can see they are both crazy about each other! Thankfully RJ's mom is a very talented photographer, she was able to capture these timeless moments!!

William got a little bump and this tear is so precious.

The look on RJ's face is so sweet.

Twins...

First Swim Lessons

Well the time has come for William to become familiar with swimming. Chris was responsible for taking our little "fish" to swim lessons three times a week. He learned some kicking and floating techniques. I didn't expect him to become an Olympic hopeful quite yet, but at least it's a start!

My Little Butterfly

This is too cute I just couldn't resist including these pictures. At William's school they learn about different types of bugs, insects, you name it. When Chris picked him up from school he was dressed like a butterfly. William loved his wings and was flying everywhere. Getting him to take a bath that night was a task, but it was definitely good entertainment.

Visiting Nana and Yaya

It's a shame that Chris' parents live in Dallas. We try to visit as much as possible when we have a free weekend. These were some of the cutest pictures with William and his Yaya and Nana!

Lake time Fun

We tried to go out on the lake this summer as much as possible. Fun in the sun with some close friends and a nice cold drink, what more could you ask for?!

William's 1st Stitches

So after the wedding weekend, we picked up William from a very close friends house. He had a little cut on his head that was a tad bit deep. At first we didn't think much of it, but later that evening after several band aids we decided to get a professional opinion. William had his first stitches! This is usual for our family, we grew up in the ER, broken bones, stitches, you name it...I guess we are just accident prone, but this is what to expect from an active boy. He was circling the island in the kitchen and bumped right into the corner...ouch! William was such a trooper, he didn't shed a tear and expressed more curiosity then fear which shocked me for such a young boy. The doctor was even impressed with his calm demeanor.

Waiting, waiting, waiting...

It's almost funny to think he needed stitches...

And the finished product...two tiny stitches!

My Best Friend's Wedding

My dearest and best friend got married in May! It was a BEAUTIFUL wedding and of course when all our close friends are together, a fun party!

My Best Friend Deidra
I think she had a smile permanently glued to her face the entire night...
