Poor Roxy

So I have this feeling that William has a new goal, pick on Roxy. Despite their differences, they have been two partners in crime. The other day William was in the fridge reaching for something and dropped a candy bar and before I had a chance to get it, Roxy attacked it like a maniac. Talk about a sugar rush! I've noticed Roxy following William around hoping that he would drop something on the floor for her to eat. Today William decided to help Roxy out with her food. Here is what I woke up to. William's only explanation was, "Roxy was very very very hungry."

The bowl on the left was full of water. That was a fun mushy mess to clean up!

Crazy Kid

In between moving boxes and unpacking I've noticed some creative behavior from William. To put it bluntly that boy has been cracking me up.

The other day while Chris was getting ready for work, William decided to do the same thing. So he went into the other room with a pair of Chris' socks and started to pack his Thomas the Train back pack with cars to go to work. It was the cutest and funniest thing I've seen in a while.

So William and Roxy still aren't the best of friends, but Roxy is doing much better at tolerating William's crazy tactics. A few days ago, Roxy was put to the test and the poor thing passed with flying colors. William found the OFF spray outside and decided Roxy needed some help keeping the squitos (as William calls them) off her "pretty hair". Below is the result...so funny!

We've been enjoying the summer and have spent tons of time at Aunt Deidra's pool. William has been working on jumping off the diving board and yesterday after a weekend of near bribery, William did it...over and over and over again. After a couple of jumps he said, "see that wasn't so hard." Exactly what we have been trying to tell him the whole time.

Lately William has been doing this new thing where he changes clothes 3 or 4 times a day. He doesn't put the clothes away, I'm finding them stuffed in trash cans, in his toy chest, or under his bed. Not sure why he feels the need to change constantly, but some of the clothing combos he comes up with is pretty interesting. Today he changed out of his shorts that he's been wearing all morning long to put on some different shorts and his shin guards. He's also wearing his police helmet and riding his imaginary motorcycle around the house. Earlier he asked me to call out for help. When I did he said, "are you getting bitten by lobsters?" I LOVE his imagination.

And finally, William is starting to understand the hierarchy of the house and thought Dad should know too. Yesterday at dinner William kept getting up from the table and Chris said he needed to sit down. William in true 3 year old fashion asked "why?" and Chris said "because I'm the boss." Well William quickly said, "Dad you aren't the boss, Mom is!"
I just love my boy!!!
